Bair-Dog Volleyball Photography

Welcome to the world of photography by Bair-Dog where I am on a continual quest.…”Chasing the Shot”.

I am a native Coloradoan and own a veterinary surgical practice. My obsession is volleyball photography.

I began playing volleyball in college and was instantly hooked. The photography component started with shooting amateur photos of my daughters’ high school and club teams and my interest grew from there. I regularly photograph recreational, high school, college and professional volleyball. Occasionally, if I have my camera, you might see me pop into a local match and shoot for fun.

Unlike most sports photographers, I photograph only one sport, volleyball. My passion for and knowledge of the sport gives me a unique perspective on the techniques and nuances of the game. My objective as I photograph is to capture the “perfect shot”. I developed my style, focusing on the athleticism and grace of individual athletes and how they bring their personal style to the game. I strive to learn new techniques to best showcase the beauty, challenges and variety within the sport. Every competitor, every genre and every location offer the potential for a spectacular photograph.
